Face Shield (Covid 19 non-certificated)

Good day. My name is Alexander Schultz. I'm a master student in mechatronics who's been working on 3D printing for about five years. When shortages of protective materials hit my local area, I started looking for ways to contribute. I soon realized the need for facial protection and used existing projects as inspiration. Based on available resources and materials, I designed these masks. The shield holder is made from FDA-certified printing material, while the 0.5mm thick glass shields can be disinfected with suitable agents and reused. At present, I'm printing shield holders on two printers, cutting and punching out shields and headbands at cost price.
