I just completed a model of adjustable visor protection without using elastic. A knob at the back allows you to tighten the entire setup with sufficient force to hold the visor securely, and you can even run with it. The assembly can be done entirely without screws; however, I have provided a small screw to secure the knob, but it holds well without it. This model does require a bit more printing time, but not much more, and the straps are very fine. I use a hair dryer to bend them more easily, just like when crimping the A4 plastic sheet. I printed all parts in less than 3 hours with layers at 0.3mm, but you will need to print the "molette" part with 0.2 layer maximum for it to turn out correctly. Here's a link to an assembly guide (video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PuHizq1kjQ&feature=youtu.be You can find more information on my website: https://www.seblab3d.fr. I'm available to answer any questions, make modifications, or suggest improvements. I also appreciate any feedback you may have. Unfortunately, I forgot to upload two files initially: "Laniere Clip A R7" and "Molette R4". They are now available online; sorry for the inconvenience. A modification was made at a hospital's request: I closed the top of the visor. If you'd like to support me, please visit my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=26394355.
