I was printing a lot of these face shields and decided to make the walls hollow to save material. Eventually, I thinned the walls in my own model to increase strength and reduce filament consumption. As a result, the model is plenty strong to hold the transparent sheet, producing 74 face shields per kg roll at 13.5 grams each! Furthermore, due to streamlined printing from the design, a pair of them prints in just 40 minutes with my current settings!
