Face Sculpture - Pompeii

A sculpture of a face in a wall in Pompeii. Scanned using video and photogrammetry. One version with the “outside” included, another with just the sculpture. The sculpture is located in the “Via del Abbondanza”, coordinates 40.7504, 14.4892. It can be seen in the attached google street view photo from 2009. In 2023 when I visited the sculpture did not have the protective cover pictured here, and the paint around it seems to have been removed/lost. Its possible the sculpture and mural had been taken to the museum and replaced with a facsimile.
