The facial structure comprises pneumalized bones, characterized by the presence of air-filled cavities during their development. Specifically, this refers to the ethmoid, sphenoid, and temporal bones, which have such anatomical features. Originally created wav.obj. files were reworked using Netfabb Pro to convert them into stl format and subsequently reviewed for accuracy. This involved a meticulous process that allowed for precise examination of each converted file. 3D printed using the Solidoodle 2A on a 6x6 bed, the models required support during printing due to their complexity. A 1:1 scale was maintained, while also incorporating original data obtained from digitized cadaver databases. This process facilitated an incredibly detailed and realistic final product. Using high-quality ABS filament with optimal temperature settings at 215/95C allowed for a smooth printing experience and helped preserve the structural integrity of each model.
