This design is an updated version of a Tuftelbox design, featuring significant improvements in print speed and efficiency. By reducing the amount of PLA material used, this remix can increase print speed by up to 40%, resulting in faster production times. Additionally, the design has been tweaked to be ever so slightly thicker than its predecessor. I've successfully printed ten units on my Makerbot Rep2 and have been running them continuously for about a week now. The local hospital with a COVID-19 ward is receiving these devices as quickly as I can produce them. Please accept my sincerest apologies for any confusion caused earlier. The reporting on The Tony Bruno Show contained inaccuracies regarding the origins of this design. It's essential to correct that I did not invent this item from scratch, but rather created a redesign based on an existing concept. There was no intention to take credit for the original invention. Instead, I'm producing these devices for free distribution to a local COVID-19 ward at the Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York.
