Face Mask
thingiverse
This design boasts an upgraded face shield - v2, providing full-coverage protection through its innovative snap-on frame that accommodates medically certified fabrics woven into a mask. Although it has not undergone field testing, this design is intended to assist individuals lacking safety gear or struggling to wear goggles, masks, and shields simultaneously with a single PPE mask. To assemble this design, you will need high-quality OHP clear sheets. The following steps outline the process: 1. Attach the frame at both ends of the A4 sheet. 2. Secure the fabric to the support frame using pins - we have used a shawl as a substitute for medical-grade fabric in this instance. 3. Note that it is advisable to incorporate a layer of cotton into the folded fabric, as its static charge captures airborne particulates effectively. 4. Measure the distance between the upper frame and pin the cloth to the second grip before snapping it into place at the top frame. If necessary, adjust the fabric accordingly. 5. Roll the remaining fabric around your head like a scarf, securing any gaps to ensure a comfortable fit that prevents gaps in the mask.
