After I had temperature problems with my FabScanPi, such as stopping of the stepper motor, I designed an active cooling system. You may have to lengthen the power cable of the camera by a few centimeters. The fan mount is specifically designed for use with an 80 mm fan. The aperture must be printed with support material, but the rest can be printed without any additional help. The washers are intended for use in the fan housing, and you will need to decide whether to use the 5 mm or the 2.5 mm washers - you'll have to try both options to see which one works best. In most cases, the 2.5 mm washers fit perfectly. To improve the heat dissipation of the driver, it's highly recommended that you use a heat sink. The cover is attached to the holes in the Raspi using the lugs on the bezel - simply remove the existing spacers and replace them with the lugs on the cover. In addition to the other components, you will also need 2 screws with washers and nuts to secure the fan housing.
