Fabrikator Closed Chamber upgrade

The goal was to upgrade the fabrikator into a completely enclosed chamber, allowing for a constant temperature throughout the printing process. This is especially crucial for materials like ABS and Polycarbonate, as they require precise temperature control to function correctly. Additionally, enclosing the printer has significantly reduced noise levels. Although it's still possible to access the top of the printer easily, you will need to drill holes yourself and create a custom mount (which is relatively simple). To construct this enclosure, you'll need the following materials: Plexiglass 4mm: Left side: 20 x 24 cm Right side: 20 x 24 cm (Note: Do not insert screws into the top right corner, as it may interfere with the stepper motor) Top panel: 24.5 x 5 cm (Two pieces) 21 x 5 cm (Two pieces) 24.3 x 21.8 cm (Drill a 6mm hole in the center) Front door components: 26 x 22.5 cm 26 x 4 cm To assemble the sides, use 7x M3 nylon bolts and nuts. For the top panel, you'll need 16x 2.9mm x 9.5mm metal screws. Print the following parts: 1x door lock 2x hinges 4x coin-shaped clips 4x support blocks 2x long 90-degree supports 2x short 90-degree supports Refer to the provided images for assembly instructions. When printing with PLA, maintain an internal temperature of around 31°C. For the first layer, set the temperature to 63°C, and then adjust it to 40°C for subsequent layers. Leave the door open by about 2cm.
