The fabric tape measure, purchased due to its usefulness in measuring irregular shapes and perimeters, has a tendency to tangle and bend quickly. To ensure easy coiling, it comes with a slot at an angle for inserting one end of the tape. Additionally, two dimples on the side allow for comfortable holding between the thumb and forefinger while coiling or uncoiling. However, the ring may initially feel snug but can be adjusted by trimming the inside arches with an exacto knife to achieve a perfect fit. An extra tip: print both parts separately in skeinforge to avoid any issues during STL generation.
