Fabric Standoff for Devices
thingiverse
Many electronic devices, including computers, overheat when placed on a soft surface that blocks airflow from the rear vent. This problem affects numerous gadgets. To address this issue, I came up with an innovative solution. Four thin stands can be printed and positioned under each corner of the computer. This setup allows users to place their device on a bed or other plush surface without hindering airflow. However, it's essential to note that if the bed is extremely soft and substantial weight is applied to the computer, it may sink further into the mattress.
