***PROTOTYPE STAGE*** 03/07-19 Untested* 04/07-19 I reduced wheel diameter by 5mm to ensure a snug fit on my printer. Introduced "half" version and successfully printed full part without support using 145 v2 (hopefully) 06/07-19 Added handle/cutout and tabs between parts for improved structural integrity in 145 V3 We commonly use heavy fabric rolls at work, which can be challenging to unroll and re-roll. The proposed design aims to simplify this process by utilizing large rollers with a diameter of 400mm. The wheels are designed to accommodate 608 bearings (four pairs). I invite suggestions for alternative common bearings; please contact me or leave a comment. Shafts/axles should measure approximately 155mm in length and have an 8mm diameter, allowing for thirteen cuts from a 2000mm stock. Drilling holes for pins or threading the ends are currently being considered as options. Threaded M8 rods could also be used; however, their interaction with the bearing's inner surface remains uncertain. Possibly using a smaller threaded rod and sleeves could provide a more effective solution. For heavy rolls like ours, I recommend printing three sets, possibly even four. **145 Base:** Length: 205.09mm Width: 141mm Height: 110mm **145 Wheels:** Diameter: 145mm Width: 100mm **145 Simple Base:** Length: 205.09mm Width: 45mm Height: 110mm **150 Base:** Length: 221mm Width: 141mm Height: 112.5mm **150 Wheels:** Diameter: 150mm Width: 100mm If you build one before me, please share your experience and let me know how it works (I need the shafts).
