Fabric Enclosure Filament Port

Fabric Enclosure Filament Port

I wanted to run filament in from the side of my fabric enclosure, so I cut a small hole. When I used filament with wood mixed in it was really eating into the hole. I designed this to work as a pair of identical prints, one inside the enclosure and one outside. I used these magnets (leftovers from another project) to hold the port in place: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072HV6NLB

I designed this for use with 1.75mm filament. If you need to use larger diameter filament or you find the hole is too small, you should be able to scale up the entire model as needed.

UPDATE: With my current setup, scaling to 125% gave me the freedom of movement I needed. My filament run has a somewhat sharp curve to it.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

200

Infill:

20

Filament:Hatchbox ABS White

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
