Faberware HF-919B Replacement Timer Knob

Replacement knob for the Faberware Air Fryer - Model #HF-919B I initially searched online for a replacement and found only one option: a 3D printed part sold on eBay for $15. I decided to design my own, ensure its strength, and make it available to others. The original timer knob is flimsy on the underneath shaft, making it prone to breaking when turned counterclockwise to stop the fryer. The force required to turn the knob causes the shaft to crack. This replacement knob features thicker walls on the shaft for added durability. If your printer's tolerances are off or the new knob's shaft is too tight, use a 4/16 bit (or 6.3mm or 6.4mm metric bit) to carefully drill out the inner hole of the underneath shaft. I recommend using a slicer to create the top of the knob with 15% infill and the shaft at 100% infill for maximum strength. If this isn't possible, set all settings to 100%. The shaft should be as robust as possible. Using black filament or painting the knob black will enhance its appearance. Adding a small amount of white paint to the timer notch makes it easier to read.
