It also keeps filament tensioned on the spool. Upon filament stoppage due to extruder blockage, empty filament, or print completion, a persistent loud signal alerts users for easy filament reloading and resuming printing. The FFW's components are mainly from Conrad Electronic, including magnets, reed switches, toggle switch, beeper, time relay, and a 12VDC power supply. Lego elastic wheels help with assembly. The system can be customized by adjusting the relay's time settings. Users can download the FFW design for their Replicator printers on the MakerBot side. Items are available in Germany at Conrad shops or online, but international delivery is uncertain.
