Fab Lab Tulsa Welcomed Our Family with Open Arms to the Thrilling Tulsa Maker Faire 2019 Experience. We were honored when Fab Lab Tulsa invited our family to be their special guests at the electrifying Tulsa Maker Faire 2019. We eagerly accepted, and what a day it turned out to be! After spending an exciting day exploring the event, we treated ourselves to awesome t-shirts and an adorable set of small windup "dancing" robots for each member of our family. Our Fab Lab Tulsa Trophy is a larger, more impressive, motorized version of those charming little dancing robots that I designed from scratch, 3D printed with precision, and carefully assembled to express our heartfelt gratitude to Fab Lab Tulsa for their incredible hospitality. We also wanted to celebrate their outstanding success at the phenomenal Tulsa Maker Faire 2019. When the first trophy was unveiled, everyone's face lit up with joy. So, I decided to upgrade the design for family and friends by adding animated gear fronts and personalized medallions that can be customized in various ways. I've included the STL file "Medallion, Blank.stl" which allows you to apply a 2D printed sticker to give your trophy a unique touch. As always, I'm sure I overlooked some files or made other mistakes along the way, so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I make plenty of errors, but I'm always eager to learn and improve. Our Fab Lab Tulsa Trophy was designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced with precision using Cura 4.2, and printed in durable PLA on an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
