Redesign the Makerbot MK5 Plastruder for compatibility with Fab@Home's standard chassis. Visit fabathome.org and fabathome.org/wiki/Main_Page for more information on Fab@Home. Required parts from Makerbot Store include the Plastruder MK5 No Relay Board Kit ($170) and specific components such as the filament drive system, hot end, drive gear and bearing, small hex nuts (>30), and M3 x 22mm socket head cap screws (16 different lengths). Discard all acrylic plates. Additional hardware needed includes #4-40 (qty: 4) and #4-48 (qty: 10) screws, small machine screws (qty: 4), stainless steel screws (qty: 8), flat square nuts (qty: 4), medium and small thermoplastic inserts (qty: 4 each), an SM231 Snap motor, and various acrylic plates.
