Mounting retracts on the bottom of my F550 I discovered that all the plates and odd carbon fibre mounting systems were overly complicated and useless, so while I had a work experience kid over it seemed like a great opportunity to create something simple that actually works. The plate features a groove for the servo lead and all the holes are precisely in place to mount the servo. The plate then clicks into position in line with one of the legs and you use the leg mounts to secure it firmly in place. Hey presto, no more wobbly retracting landing gear!
