Simple fan duct designed specifically for cold end and part cooling applications, effortlessly printable with PLA filament. If you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to reach out - I'll do my best to assist or resolve the problem. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03/29/2019 ~ Successfully uploaded an optimized air blocker for the 5015 version, which can be seamlessly integrated without requiring removal of the hot/cold-end components. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03/25/2019 ~ Developed a new iteration of the part cooling duct, featuring a unique design that directs airflow precisely to prevent excessive nozzle cooling. To achieve this, a metal washer with a 4 mm hole and 12 mm outer dimension can be installed near the tip. Additionally, an air blocker was implemented to prevent cold end fan air from reaching the hotend. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03/17/2019 ~ Introduced a cold end duct specifically designed for 5015 blowers, utilizing the same bolts as the 40 mm fan. For mounting, use one 4 or three 25 mm bolt and nut for the 5015 attachment. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To assemble this design, you'll require just a few bolts: 1 piece of 3x6mm for the base mount 4-6 pieces of 3x10mm for the hotend fan and air duct (1 piece of 3 or 4x25 mm bolt and nut for the 5015 attachment) It's crucial to set your support settings to "Touching Build Plate," as this ensures that you can remove the support structures within the duct. Failure to do so will result in an inability to remove these supports. When printing, I employed a small brim with 8 lines. The total print time for this design is approximately 5 hours, broken down into 2 hours for the mount and 3 hours for the duct. To accommodate your own emblem, note that the interior of the square measures 36*5.9 mm. This design was created for personal use but has been successfully implemented. I opted for a simple and easy approach, and now share it with others to try and improve. Feel free to experiment - this may also work effectively on the CR-10.
