F4U Corsair testpart fuselage
thingiverse
This is a test part of the 3DLabGang F4U Corsair scale 1/12. The original fuse_5 part was designed for using 3mm polypropylene multi-wall sheet as rudder and elevator material. However, in some countries, only 4mm sheets are available. In this case, you can use the provided part instead. Please test the factory file for S3D and the gcode to ensure compatibility with your printer. The part was successfully tested on a Prusa MK3 without any issues and should run smoothly on most printers. If it's not running perfectly, try using the factory file and generating a custom gcode with your specific printer settings. Similar 4mm thick materials for rudder and elevator are available in the US from Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Replacement-Coroplast-Available-Multiple/dp/B07D3CJR7C/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540543514&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=3mm+coroplast&th=1 and https://www.amazon.com/TSM-Coroplast-Correx-Corrugated-Plastics/dp/B01M3WB7FT/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1540543514&sr=8-3-fkmr0&keywords=3mm+coroplast&th=1 Refer to the video guide for recommended print settings.
