The remains of a WWII-era Grumman F4F Wildcat's tail section mysteriously appear on St. Augustine, Florida shores in September 2020. The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum's experts at the Lighthouse Archaeological Maritime Program (LAMP) have taken possession of the relic and are working closely with the Naval History and Heritage Command to determine the best course of conservation for this precious historical artifact.
