This accepts 1/2" aluminum channel for mounting. I drilled my own holes so the motor can be securely fastened to the aluminum, utilizing it as a heat sink in the process. This setup allows users to select any length of channel they prefer. A crucial detail not visible in the photos is an M3 x 16mm bolt and lock nut through the center to firmly secure the boom. Printing with five outer layers produced a tight fit, but some minor clean-up work was necessary using a Dremel.
