F210 Quadcopter 2 Part foot + Guard replacement
thingiverse
This is a two-part captive foot and motor guard designed specifically for the F210 Walkera Quad. The guard goes on first, then the foot holds it firmly in place using the original length screws, making it capable of withstanding hard landings without any issues. For printing the foot, you should orient the plate downwards and use 2 small supports to prevent overhangs from causing problems. If your printer is well-calibrated, the parts should fit together smoothly right off the bed without requiring any additional effort. In the future, I plan to modify the foot design by incorporating a multi-axis spring to replace the shock-absorbing function of the original part. However, for now, I haven't figured out how to print this design easily due to technical limitations. For anyone interested in creating their own foot from scratch, the screw holes are 3.5mm in diameter and spaced 11.5mm apart at the center. The outer radius of the shape is 3mm using the same centers as before. Print Settings: Printer: Geetech G2S Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2, 0.1, or even finer divisions Infill: 35-100% Notes: You will need active cooling for both parts to ensure successful printing and optimal results.
