The KY57/58 Transmission Security Device safeguards voice and data transmission in audio tone form. It encrypts FAX transmissions using the KY-57 as an example. The KY-57 is a handheld ground device, limited to voice encryption, requiring a radio or wire line for operation. The KY-58 serves as the aircraft version of the KY-57, mounted in Blocks 25, 30/32 as the TSEC/KY-58 RCU. Models were created using Blender 2.81 for Cycles rendering, with PBR-based textures and materials. Simple empties facilitate animation rigging.
