F150 a/c vent bottle holder
thingiverse
I revised my bottle holder again. This should be the last time. By the way - this bottle holder will hold a 500ml bottle. While my original design was ok it was a little on the finicky side. If I wasn't careful pulling the bottle out then the holder came with it. This revision stays in place and just feels much more solid. I added little gripper blocks to the bottom to make the arm hold on to the power door better. And the two vent clips are thicker and just bigger and stronger now. They are a little harder to get into the vents now but once they are in they stay in. You kind of have to snake them into the vents. Insert sideways then straighten them out. It is a 3 piece print now. The main arm, the loop, and 2 vent clips. The 2 vent clips are on a common brim. There is a little bridge work but overall it is a very easy print. I printed these one at a time then cleaned them up a little and then I glued them together with super glue. I had to clean up the bottom corners of the 5X5 arms where they rest on the bed, just enough to make the 5X5 arms 5X5 again, so the loop and vent clips will slide on to the arms. I printed these in PETG .2 layer 50% infill. It prints with no rafts brims or supports.
