F Batt Case Slim
thingiverse
All the features of my original battery case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1096639) except with a more compact design to better fit your projects. Added larger m3 sized mounting holes to match store-bought case designs. Simplified jumper notch for a tighter fit. Retained same width and length as close to a standard AA case as possible without compromising features, approximately 1 mm longer. UPDATE - Added a second design for more permanent installations. In the pictures above, wires are soldered to small bent headers due to lack of right flux for soldering stainless steel (with patience, friction fit can be used instead for a solderless project). The opposite side is designed for easy removal and addition of an on/off switch if preferred. Enjoy! Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 75% Post-Printing: Battery tabs can be minimized since there is limited space for compression. Carefully insert batteries to avoid breaking thin side walls. Use 4mm screws for ON/OFF switch.
