To achieve a perfect print quality and a rounded shape, elevate the model on the Z-axis and add supports to the bottom of the model for added stability. Printed with a hollow design and a vibrant red finish, this model is ideal for creating a DIY home cockpit for the F/A-18C. I've included two versions: one without mounting holes (allowing you to drill your own) and another with 6.3mm round holes for easy installation of toggle switches. In addition, I'll be releasing a companion model designed specifically for my custom landing gear lever, which can be 3D printed once that project is complete and thoroughly tested. As the model is hollow, you can use it to create an illuminated landing gear knob effect, similar to the real F/A-18C. This was inspired by in-game screenshots of the F/A-18C from DCS, providing a precise reference for accuracy.
