This model is a version of the F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet with a stand. The F/A-18 is 33,100 pounds when empty and can reach a maximum of 66,000 pounds before takeoff. The F/A-18 can reach speeds up to Mach 1.6. Each engine can produce over 17,000 pounds of thrust and the F/A-18 has two engines. That's over 34,000 pounds of thrust! Top Gun: Maverick was made by Paramount Pictures. Actors experienced the full force of the F/A-18 as dogfights and races were filmed from inside and outside the jet. The pilots flew the jets near the ground for some amazing shots. The stand includes the Top Gun logo.
