The F-86D Sabredog emerged as a development of the renowned F-86 Saber. It marked a significant milestone in USAF aviation history by being the first night fighter to rely on a single pilot's expertise. Instead of guns, this exceptional aircraft utilized 2.75-inch unguided rockets housed in a retractable tray. Notably, export versions featured four 20mm cannons and omitted the rockets altogether. In 1953, the F-86D Sabredog achieved an impressive speed record of 1152 kph. A detailed model of this remarkable aircraft was created in Blender 2.79b, scaled to a precise 1/100 ratio for the STL file. To ensure accurate printing, it is recommended that the model be reduced to 35% in the slicer software. For reference purposes, the dice are 15mm in size. As with all prints, quality control is essential; if printing proves unsuccessful, the post will not be published.
