As part of the Alexandria, VA 18th century ship project, team members meticulously scan every single timber with a laser scanner in high-definition and craft precise 3D models, which will be utilized to recreate the historic vessel entirely. This is timber F-8, the sturdy floor timber that forms frame number eight.
