We CQ'd for the Constellation and worked with the pilots of CVW-14 who affectionately called their F-18's 'Vipers' because the ship's cats were notoriously bad. Despite being outgunned during war games off Hawaii, they emerged victorious in their deployment, claiming the coveted Battle 'E' award as the first squadron to operate the F-18. It was a formidable aircraft, but some might argue it lacked the flair of its predecessor, the Tomcat. We chose to model the F-18 in full dimensions using Blender 2.79b and scaled it down to 1/100 for the STL file. The slicer then reduced it further to 35% of its original size. For scale, we used 15mm dice as a reference point.
