ATTENTION! As mentioned on my last model, I will be leaving Thingiverse by the end of January. I plan on uploading at least one more model before I head on over to Printables. You have been warned. The F-16 Fighting Falcon, or more commonly known as the Viper, is a single engine, multirole fighter developed by General Dynamics. First entering service August 17, 1978, the Viper was a low-cost alternative to the larger F-15 Eagle. It one of the first fighters to be intentionally unstable. To counter this, it used a fly-by-wire system, meaning it rather than using cables to control the control surfaces it used an electronic system and computers to help keep the aircraft more stable for the pilot. The F-16 quickly become one of the most widely used fighter jets with 25 countries currently operating to F-16 and over 4,500 units produced. The F-16I Sufa (Israeli for Storm) is a variant of the F-16D Block 52 modified by Israel for use in the Israeli Air Force. The Sufa features many modifications to its avionics using Israeli produced parts and system in place. It also includes compatibility with the missile and weapon systems used by the IAF. The F-16I Sufa entered service in 2004 with a total of 103 in service. This model was recommended by emelaver, Thank you for the suggestion! Both Sprue and Sprue-less models included along with models of individual parts. This is yet another one of my models that require no glue. Be careful when attaching CFTs for it can be a bit of a pain once you get the first one on. Print at a .2 mm layer height with 100% infill.
