NOTE: I highly recommend also using this remix, which changes the CAM operation to be lever based like the MFG Crosswinds, eliminating center slop in the mechanism. It also increases the spring force resistance a lot! Future upgrade also should include a damper mechanism. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4840037 Video of that mod installed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7_yyJ8O2JA Still have to do a hardware and assembly guide. I designed and assembled mine for using M5 hardware instead of the original M4. Also the magnet holders and Spring holder on the pedals use M3, and I designed it as a separate part as I'm still trying to figure out the best approach. The hall effect sensor position for the toe brakes is untested. The side of the pedal takes an M5 bolt to restrict it's travel. The "Bearing_Holder_2020_v2_PedalSocket_right" has a little edge to glue down a hall effect sensor facing upwards as shown in the pictures. "Bearing_Holder_2020_toebrake_right.stl" has an extended edge for mounting the other end of the RC spring with a longer M5 bolt. Mirror as required just like the "Bearing_Holder_2020_PedalSocket_right.stl" I also designed for 8mm magnets, not 6, so I've included a larger magnet holder for the rudder action. The top strap is to help prevent the pedals from twisting outwards. (The M5 to 8mm bushing is for screwing those to the top of the extrusion, best to be inline with the pedals themselves) Also use the stiffest RC shock springs you can find. Stiffer the better. And whatever system you are using to do the USB device (mmjoy2, freejoy etc) Add curves to the toe brakes to get them more linear in the response.
