I got fed up with the light in this compartment on F-150s staying on while the door was open, so I came up with a door keeper gadget that lets the door shut just enough to flip the light switch, yet keeps the compartment wide open. This might need some adjusting based on the truck's year model. This should fit 2016-2018 models as is. The printed dimensions should be 25x8x93mm. I've been printing them with the "finger notch" facing up and no supports required.
