The F-117 Nighthawk is a stealth attack aircraft originating from the United States, manufactured by Lockheed Corporation. It first flew on 18th June 1981 and was introduced in October 1983. Unfortunately, it retired on 22nd April 2008. The primary user of this aircraft was the United States Air Force. A total of 64 were built, with 5 being YF-117As and 59 as F-117As. The flyaway cost per unit was $42.6 million while the average cost was considerably higher at $111.2 million. Interestingly, it was developed from Lockheed Have Blue.
