This DIY transmitter holder works wonderfully by positioning the unit at an optimal angle for the antenna. The friction-fit design ensures a secure hold, with an optional clip for added stability. Access to the pins on the JR module is conveniently provided, allowing PPM signal output from all ports. The stand offers excellent ergonomics, keeping electronics off the floor and enabling easy hand access for pickup. No functions are impeded, and it's compatible with an 11V lipo battery in a Turnigy 9Xr. This setup has replaced my Spektrum radio due to its compatibility with Immersion RC gear and hobby-supplied PPM-enabled Futaba training plug. A thumbs up for the value, as a similar JR module version is soon to be released. Here's the design for those interested in this model.
