So I recently purchased the cheapest Delta printer on eBay just to see what I'd get. I was surprised that a company (which has since disappeared) would produce something with obviously decent parts, but with some significant shortcomings on the software side that made the printer completely unusable. I've since ripped out the really nice STM32F control board, which had the worst firmware ever and couldn't be easily upgraded. And replaced it with a standard MKS Base gen_L. This has made the printer completely usable and indeed a pleasure to use! But one thing that I found annoying was that the standard PSU, while rated okay, wasn't fan-cooled and ran very hot. I've since mounted a couple of 40mm fans underneath which work well but because of height restrictions don't vent very well. So this mod is a very simple foot that fits under the base of the vertical support plates, and lifts the printer up enough to encourage cooling.
