EZstruder top mount (Rostock MAX)
thingiverse
Mount the EZstruder on your Rostock MAX's top plate, as I have done for months without issue, even with Taulman 645 Nylon. The mount is low-profile and durable. For the side walls of your print, use a design like this (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:119050) to create support triangles for the walls and motor mount. To wire the printer, cut a 1/2" PVC pipe to length, carving a channel for wires to exit for the hot end early and run up top for extruder access. In KISSlicer at 0.2mm layer height with two perimeters and no part cooling, you can print without supports; however, bridging may require careful settings to prevent layer separation. Attach the mount using 30mm M3 socket cap screws and nuts on top plate, and use stock screws and nuts for EZstruder attachment; consider shorter (10mm) screws for better fit. Combine with this top-mount spool holder: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:114717
