I managed to contact SeeMeCNC who corrected the original Remix's base file for me, allowing me to incorporate the Optical Filament Sensor attachment seamlessly into the revised design. The result is a direct bolt-on replacement that's ready to be put to the test once I return home and initiate the printing process.
