Ez3d pheonix laser cut carriage
thingiverse
A new carriage designed to replace the unwieldy resin contraption is underway. The central aperture has been configured to accommodate a J-head hot end; however, it is recommended that you create your own mounting system to ensure a proper fit with almost any hot end. The STL file for the belt holder employs M3 nuts and Phoenix screws to securely hold the belts in place. To mount the Jhead plate, carefully position the nuts on the design to create an etching area and capture the nuts themselves. Prior to finalizing the etch job, conduct a test with your laser cutter to avoid over-etching through the material. It is essential that the acrylic sheet used for construction is thick enough to provide adequate rigidity. This design was created using Inkscape and Blender respectively.
