Talon Magazine Replacement Takes It Up to 11. A game-changing magazine design, crafted to make printing and assembly a breeze. The streamlined body and follower are combined into just two easy-to-print parts, with my medium-speed printer whipping them out in under two hours. These upgraded magazines demand a constant force spring, readily available as Nerf drum spring replacements or purchased from foamblastshop.com. A standard katana or talon box spring will suffice, but make sure to add a bottom – they're not sold separately, so the constant force spring is your best bet. The outer profile of this magazine was expertly borrowed from Thanlhlon magazines, while the internal design was significantly simplified and rearranged for vertical printing. The constant force spring anchor was also revised to match current market offerings, boasting a squared U bend over the traditional V bend. I swapped out the follower for one similar to those used in my Kanetana series, sharing the same shape sans spring cavity as its predecessor. The result is a vertically printed masterpiece that's about three times longer than previous versions, allowing it to fit snugly without unwanted rotation at the cost of a few darts.
