This shredder version lets you print the box in halves, a convenient feature that streamlines the assembly process. After placing the cutters into position at the bottom of the box, simply place the top and it snaps closed with latches securely attached to the base. For added convenience, I have included both cutters in one file for those who prefer to print them simultaneously, as well as separate files for individuals who prefer to print them one at a time. To further enhance functionality, I have incorporated a ratcheting socket crank, inspired by Clevens' pocket wrench design. This feature eliminates the need to rotate the entire tool, reducing strain and effort. An optional hand crank is also included for users who prefer this traditional approach. A cutter with an integrated socket has been added, offering improved torque and convenience. The proximity of the ratchet handle to the gear enables a more efficient shredding process. This design is ideal for shredding kitchen food, which can then be added to a compost bin. It's also perfect for preparing vegetables for salads, salsa, smoothies, or other recipes that require finely chopped ingredients. To ensure compliance with food safety standards, I have specified the use of Food Safe PLA material throughout the design. To maximize strength and durability, it is recommended to use near 100 percent infill settings during printing.
