WISP Drone's Mini Drone Drop has recently improved its design, eliminating the need for screwing on strap guides as they are now part of the case. The locking mechanism has also been updated. To purchase additional parts such as servo, battery, RF transmitter, RF remote, servo mount, and locking/drop mechanism, visit wispdrone.net. To assemble the drone drop, first print and add the servo and locking components inside the case. Then install a recommended 12 or 6-volt battery and mount it along with an on/off switch. Attach the remote control PCB with antenna outside the case. Next, attach the strap guides using screw mounts (3 sets of 2) followed by attaching the strap buckle to the strap itself. Finally, secure the Ez Drone Drop to the bottom or side of your drone using the strap and fasten it with four screws. Unlock the mechanism, add your desired object, lock it in place, and you're ready for a drop. However, be cautious as dropping even small objects like a penny from 4000 feet can prove fatal to individuals below.
