update 6/9/2019 The eye piece has been redesigned with a larger lens opening and a simplified design that can fit different cameras. This update is reflected in the new files eye-front-1.1 and eye-back-1.2. --------------------- update 4/2/2018 A new version of the tower ground and middle sections (1.1) has been released. --------------------- Raspberry Pi camera case inspired by the Eye of Sauron, this design fits the camera module v2 with a slight modification needed for the v1 module. The optional tower can be printed in three separate parts that stack together. The eye features a latch and no screws are required for assembly. This is an ongoing project, the current version has loose-fitting tower parts with no latches in place. The tower's design may undergo significant changes as I'm not satisfied with its current appearance. In theory, the Raspberry board can fit inside the tower, but there isn't enough space to connect USB power. Powering through GPIO is still a viable option.
