Read how it was made here at: https://www.blackramindustries.com/eye-of-agamotto/ YouTubers have captured the 3D printed Eye of Agamotto in action on YouTube - check out this video to see it for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnpSAThrps4&feature=youtu.be A huge fan of Doctor Strange, I wanted to create a Cosplay Eye of Agamotto that would open and close with the light inside. I designed a cam mechanism behind the eye lids, along with a case to open and close the eye by rotating the back. The main body was split in two so that the front and rear pieces are easier to print. Assembly: Check out the video for the assembly process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZY_qUZsyCVg To complete the assembly, glue the top face piece to the rear base. Eye Light: I used an LED to create the eye effect - check out this BlinkM Mini from thingm.com: https://thingm.com/products/blinkm-minm/ Powering it up is easy with 2 x 1.5V Button Cell Batteries (A76/LR44). To diffuse the light, I used tissue and plastic. Uncle Jessy has a great video on building and painting the eye - check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xptbk_hj_Rk&t=16s
