Eye Monster Holiday Ornament A Cute and iconic Eye Monster Ornament holiday decoration Presupported and unsupported files included This great holiday ornament lets you show off your gamer side while decorating your tree (or wherever, really). Perfect for Christmas or any holiday where things might be expected to wear frilly stocking caps. This happy monster is a Peeper, a baby Eye Monster (like a Beholder for D&D fans, but, separate and legally distinct). He’s got three big eye stalks (clearly they haven’t all come in yet) and a jumbo central eye—bright and cheery, to match his happy smile! The model is hollow, and only uses about 40ml of resin to print. Also prints great in FDM, but of course you’ll have to use supports for that. There’s a hole on his bottom that is big enough to shove a light from one of your tree strands up into, in order to make his central eye ‘glow’. I used a 5mm transparent ‘gem’ I got from the craft store which I glued over the eyehole to make the light a little softer. There is also a spot on his middle eyestalk for you to attach a hook for ease in hanging him on your tree. Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. The Eye Monster Holiday Ornament was created by myself as a Christmas Gift for all my gaming group friends a couple years ago. Now you can print a bunch for your own tree or to give to your gaming friends as gifts too!
