THIS FRAME IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RESIN PRINTERS (SLA/DLP/LCD)\n\nThis model A2 has a width of 151mm. You will likely need to scale it for a perfect fit. It's no problem as long as you don't make it smaller than 138mm, or the hinges won't work properly. You can scale it in X, Y and Z independently, but be aware that extreme differences may cause issues with mounting the glasses.\n\nThis frame design is a classic combination of traditional and modern elements, both masculine and feminine, with a glass shape that's quite timeless. It suits several face forms well. The frame is as slim as possible, since I prefer thin plastic frames. However, this means it's not extremely durable if you drop it. In that case, simply print another one (just be sure to test different scale factors for a perfect fit).\n\nThis printed frame is an all-in-one design. That means you don't need to assemble the parts separately. After printing and removing support material, just sand or paint it and install your glasses.\n\nTo get your glasses made, simply take the frame to an optician (eye shop) and they will make the lenses with the correct diopter for you. If you want sunglasses, that's possible too. In Germany, this costs around 39 Euros online or 69 Euros offline.\n\nYou can also download other "A" models, which have the same glass shape and size as model A2. This means you can print all of them and swap out the glasses later according to your preference. Just remember to use the same scale factor for all prints!\n\nTo swap out the lenses, simply press them from the backside to the front-side and they will detach from the frame. To assemble them, do it in reverse order (front-side to backside). Be aware that repeating this process may cause the frame to break after several attempts. However, I've found that only poorly printed frames tend to break. If you heat the frame with warm water first, this makes the process easier but isn't strictly necessary.
