Eye Cu Smile P3 JSP Force 8 Adapter V2
thingiverse
This is an update to the JSP P3 Force 8 filter adapter using TPU printed seals to significantly improve the chance of a perfect air seal between the filter body and JSP force 8 filter. Remove the check valve nitrile disk from the JSP force 8 filter to allow airflow in both directions. Keep the disk and use as donor check valve material in the USB mask dryer design. Design changes from initial prototype: TPU printed seals (see image) Wider filter body base with spiral bottom form Added thumbgrip tabs to clamp nut and optimised them on the adapter capnut Threads on the capnut made slightly deeper to make assembly easier. Intended to be paired with updated fine meshes in listing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4865832 Disclaimer The author has no way of testing the capture and inactivation of viral load of the vapor that has passed through the presented filter assembly. Hence, they should not be used where accredited PPE is already available in a professional setting e.g. healthcare. The mesh filter designs are unproven, therefore no guarantee can be provided as to its efficacy to filter viral particles. These are unproven concept devices intended to inspire and aid development of prototype FDM printed clear mask technology and should be viewed as such. This is a work in progress listing that has undergone minimal subjective testing on a sample size of 1. The design is subject to change.
