Accurate high definition eye model with the bone of the eye socket is presented in two versions - sectioned and closed. Both versions were created using a highly detailed 3D scan of an anatomically correct eye model as reference. The rendering speed is exceptionally fast while maintaining incredibly fine details, thanks to the use of high resolution normal bump maps. The textures have a size of 2048x2048 pixels, allowing for close up renderings with ease. Render settings for 3dsMax 9 are included. In the sectioned version, the two muscles at the top and side of the eye can be removed separately, as well as the upper part of the eyeball, cornea, lens, and vitreous. Technical Notes: The file format is Max 9.0, with render settings for Mental Ray included. Preview renderings were created using this file, with Meshsmooth applied to allow setting object resolution as desired. The sectioned and closed versions are organized in layers. The eye model is available in various software formats, including Maya 8.0, Cinema 4D 9.6, Lwo 6.0, Obj, and 3ds. Each format includes both the sectioned and closed versions of the eye, with three different resolutions ranging from 8346 to 131664 Polygons. The lowest poly-version is the SubD hull, making it easy to use in any software supporting SubD. Previews were rendered in 3dsMax 9.
