This votive offering is a typical element of the religious character of Iberian culture in its full phase, which is characterized by the use of public sanctuaries linked to the city and territory, located in the midst of nature, in places where the landscape is imposing and there are strategically situated caves, given the value of a sanctuary and where the water from nearby springs has great importance. The importance of this votive offering lies in its place of discovery, the city of Castulo, allowing us to think about the existence of a workshop for votives or a sanctuary within the city itself.
